It's very normal to find the free tour in the big European city. But most of them are walking tour, some site seeing, explaining the history or some guide of local stuff.

The highland tour and horror tour in Edinburgh are more special than you can find in other cities.
在愛丁堡，你可以看到比較特別的是高原導覽團跟恐怖導覽團。
In fact, after attending the highland tour ( from thehairycoo), I canceled all of the following tour I had booked.
先說個結果，我參加完這次的導覽團(thehairycoo)後就放棄後面的所有已經訂好的免費導覽團了。
If you want to go to highland, the only things you have to concerned are time and money. I thought the highland tour should be a good choice. So I choose a famous free tour agent and booked the one day free tour online one month ago.
因為去高原，大多都要有雄厚的財力，跟足夠的時間，所以免費導覽團就算是個不錯的選擇。
所以在出發前一個月就在網路上頗負盛名的免費導覽的旅行社，訂了一天來回的高原團。
However, I regret. It's not worthy to me.(Just for me, my personal opinion)
但實際上，這對我來說沒有太大的價值。
1. It's not free: The driver (guide) would stand at the door and wait us for the tips before getting out of the bus. Most of tourist paid 15 ponds at least. So it's not real budget.
1. 他不是真的免費: 在下車前，司機會站在門口旁邊等著大家給小費。 我看到大家都挺闊氣，至少一人都15鎊以上。也許是這邊的公定價。
2. The views are not as good as I expected: It's my first trip in Europe, I thought it's quite beautiful at that moment, however after my one month traveling, just so so.
2. 景色不如預期: 這是我的歐旅第一天，當初覺得很美，但經歷一個月後的流浪，回想起來其實，我覺得還好。
Castles are small and normal.
Highland is quite different from Asia. But I won't say it's spectacular.
The Scottish cow, just two.
主打城堡，但城堡很小且普普。
主打高原景色，的確跟亞洲不太一樣，但壯觀不至於。
主打蘇格蘭牛，就在圍籬內只有兩隻給你看。
3. English ability. My English level is median. I can understand 80% of American talk show without subscribe. But as a victim of our sick government, I'm not familiar with western histories. And the Scottish have very strong accent, I only can under 20% between their words. It's a bad day, ahhh.
3. 英文能力:我想我的英文能力算普通，看美國脫口秀不看字幕可以聽懂八成。 但因為沒有西方史概念，也不熟歷史的專有名詞，加上蘇格蘭特殊的口音，基本上聽懂的不到兩成。 所以我那天過得有點痛苦。
4. Inappropriate arrangement by guide: I might be the special case, because I'm a single Asia guy. Maybe some "stereotype reason", he asked me to accept the seat in the corner, and didn't want to pay any attention on me, and didn't face to me when he introduced the historical building. It was a bad experience.
4. 導遊的不當安排: 這可能只有我遇到，可能我是單人亞洲男性，說著一口華語。也許是刻板印象，所以導遊把我排在角落座位，從頭到尾都不想屌我，講解的時候也沒面對我。 經驗很糟。
Based on reasons I mentioned above, I don't recommend this tour to those who can't understand English well.
綜合以上幾點，個人認為，聽不懂又被差別待遇，景色普通，不爽還是得給小費，給太少又要被白眼。所以，我自己是不推薦英文程度不夠的人參加的。畢竟在歐洲的每一天都是錢跟回憶啊。
